Here in Michigan there is a town called Holland, my dad lives in it, this town has an annual bike event called the Holland 100, how then you ask do I do 38 miles? Well... There's a 18, 36 and 100 mile route (I think there's another between 36 and 100), it'll take an extra 2ish miles to get to the route and hence, 38 miles. I will be doing this on a vintage Fuji, one of those bikes that doesn't have distinct positions on its shifters, you just kind of feel it out, also those shifters are at the handlebar stem, not on the actual handlebars. The tires are super skinny and that's about what I need out of a road bike for such an even. This year I endeavor to take pictures of the bike, it's usually the only time of year I ride it and I want to share it with you guys.
I have selected the CycleDroid app to keep track of my progress, good one? It seems to get good ratings.
The bike looks something like this, but different, mine is BRG :D

i learned on a Prince just like that. I miss the shifting style, but I do like my brake combo shifter, and have gotten used to it.

Yeah, modern shifters are definitely superior, but I like these, they are fun.

ive always wanted a Panasonic from the mid 80s. Just cant find one in good enough shape.
i have a 2011 Motobecane Grand Record now. Wouldnt give up up to be honest. Its such a great feel. Needs chainrings and a chain, but it rides really well. The only change Id make at this point would be an aero rear wheel, maybe a different from wheel, but otherwise, Im very happy with it.

Haha, the strange things the giant corporations of Japan get into. I at one point had a Mitsubishi cell phone.
I've actually been considering Motobecane for a mountain bike. I like that they charge for a bike what they SHOULD cost. The major mfr's are charging far too much in my opinion.
